Nickname

My real name is Samuel but everyone knows me as Sam. Few people call me Sammy. I have had the nickname Sambo Slice get thrown out there a couple of times. 

Local adventure Spot

Pinnacle Mountain because it is an all around adventure haven. You can hike, mountain bike, trail run, and even kayak down the river that runs right by the base.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

If you do something, always have a purpose behind why you do it. The reason this stuck with me is that we get so caught up doing things just because instead of making the most of our daily efforts. Do not settle with the status quo.

What’s your wave style?

Peace sign is my go to but if I am feeling a little spicy I will throw up a shaka sign.

Why do you wave?

Waving is such a simple way to spread joy to another. No matter what the circumstance you can brighten someone's day with this simple gesture. When I am out on local trails and someone waves it brings me energy that I can not put into words.
